Summer Reading Program 2022: Read Beyond the Beaten Path
This summer, Read Beyond the Beaten Path with Beaman Library’s Summer Reading Program! To get started, visit Beaman Library’s Beanstack website and register for the Summer Reading Challenge for your age group. If you are unfamiliar with Beanstack, please call or visit the Library and a staff member will be happy to help you!
The Summer 2022: Read Beyond the Beaten Path for Adults challenge will occur throughout June, July, and August. For this challenge, adult readers will log the number of minutes read each day! This really exciting change allows readers an opportunity to log more often and earn more Beanstack badges!
If you read or listen to at least 500 minutes of content borrowed from Beaman Library this summer, you will be entered in an end-of-challenge prize drawing. And, the more minutes you read translates into more drawing entries. Prizes will include gift certificates to some of our local dining establishments. The Summer 2022: Read Beyond the Beaten Path for Teens challenge will also occur throughout June, July, and August. For this challenge, young adult readers will log the number of minutes read each day! For every 100 minutes read, a new camp-related Beanstack badge will be earned and readers can come in to claim a scratch off ticket. Each scratch off ticket will reveal a prize that can be collected at the Library. Once teen readers have recorded 1,000 minutes, they will be entered in the grand prize drawing for a prize valued at $100! The Summer 2022: Read Beyond the Beaten Path for Kids challenge will run from June 21 through August 16. This Summer Reading Program features an outdoor adventure theme, skill development, and a variety of other exciting experiences; Summer Camp at the Library! Using Beanstack, you will log each book you borrow and read from Beaman Library to earn badges, prize tickets, and rewards. You may also earn extra tickets by participating in some of the many activities the Library will be offering! Use your tickets to enter raffles for the many prizes that are available. And, read 20 minutes every day to be entered into a special drawing for a $50 gift card.
