Tails & Tales

This year's Summer Reading Program theme is Tails and Tales! To get started, visit the Beanstack website and register for a Summer Reading Challenge. If you are unfamiliar with Beanstack, watch this tutorial to learn how to create a Beanstack account and enroll in the different reading challenges.

The Summer 2021: Tails and Tales for Adults challenge will occur throughout June, July, and August. For this challenge, participants may record each digital or physical item you borrow from Beaman Library and read/listen to. Each item recorded in Beanstack will result in one entry into an end-of-challenge drawing for gift certificates to local restaurants! Visit the Adult Summer Reading page to learn more about this challenge.

The Summer 2021: Tails and Tales for Teens challenge will occur between June 22 and August 10. This year, each physical or digital book or activity that participants log in Beanstack will translate into one entry for a monthly drawing. So, the more reading and program participation you log, the greater your chances of winning a prize! Visit the Teen Summer Reading page to learn more about this challenge.

The Summer 2021: Tails and Tales for Kids challenge will occur between June 22 and August 10. This year, summer reading participants will earn virtual tickets when recording reading and program participation. These virtual tickets can be used to enter raffle drawings for the prizes of your choice at the end of the Summer Reading Program! Visit the Summer Reading for Kids page to learn more about this challenge.

Prizes have been paid for by The Friends of Beaman Library and generous donations from the community.
