Each time you sign out an item from the main floor circulation desk, receive a set of stickers to add to our stickerboard! This is a fun, collaborative effort to fill in an initially blank image with stickers. The result is a colorful picture that is slowly revealed as the stickers are put in place. Have fun!

Writing the War Years - Virtual
Monday, December 6 at 7:00 p.m.
Join local authors Sharon Healy-Yang, Lisa Lieberman, and Janet Raye Stevens for a discussion regarding their works set during World War II. During this timely discussion the authors will reflect upon how history has influenced their work, the research process, and how contemporary issues are portrayed in their writing. Adult Story Time: A Cup of Christmas Tea - In Person

Relax and Rejuvenate - In Person
Saturday, January 15 from 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Join Dawn Sulmasy for a mindful morning designed to recalibrate our bodies and refresh our spirits after the holiday season. Come dressed to relax with an aromatherapy and crystal-guided meditation, inspirational journaling, simple yoga postures, and healthy food tips for gentle detoxification. Mindful Meditation with Carol McGuiggan - In Person (Registration opens January 4)

This class is open to all individuals wishing to develop inner awareness, health, and well-being. The practice will include techniques to improve concentration, clarity of mind, relaxation, and promote self-awareness. Bring your yoga mat or sitting cushion and a receptive attitude. Book Talk with Local Author Ted Flanagan - Virtual
Thursday, January 27 at 6:30 p.m
Join us for a discussion with local author Ted Flanagan about his new book Every Hidden Thing, a novel that explores big city politics, nasty secrets, a dirty cop, and a deranged sociopath deep within the urban jungle. Copies of the book, some of which was written at the Beaman Library, will be available to borrow. Ted is a paramedic and former daily newspaper reporter from central Massachusetts.
