Fortunately, Dr. Andrew Linscott is able to teach you simple meditation techniques to de-escalate tension, reduce anxiety, and de-stress. Join West Boylston resident and writer Loree Griffin Burns as she launches her newest book for children with a library fundraising book extravaganza! Honeybee Rescue: A Backyard Drama tells the story of beekeeper John Connery and a colony of honeybees that moved out of his backyard hive box and into his ramshackle garage. This is a backyard drama you don’t want to miss. Join us to hear more about it! Copies of the book, filled with eye-popping images by local photographer Ellen Harasimowicz, will be available for sale and signing after the event (only cash and check accepted for payment). Pollinators and Pollinator Gardens

Join Kathryn from the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation to learn how to identify some native plants and pollinators so that you can join the movement to attract pollinators to your own backyard. Teens and adults are welcome at this event.

Learn the art of macramé, a method of creating textiles by tying knots. All of the materials needed to create a coaster that you can take home with you will be provided.
Hand Sewing for Beginners

During this two-hour workshop, Michelle will teach the basics of hand sewing as you complete a simple project - a tiny emoji! Leave with a beginner sewing kit as well!
