Explore the art of henna, a temporary body art (staining) using henna dyes. Local henna artist Mandy Roberge of Wicked Good Henna will provide beautiful tattoos to each participant. Bring a friend or family member to share the experience. Sign up is required. We need at least 10 confirmed participants to provide this program.

 

Holbrook Chapel at Mount Vernon Cemetary

Join the Friends at their Annual Meeting event featuring the Gravestone Girls! This family oriented history tour is recommended for ages 10+ and will take place at Mt. Vernon cemetery where we will take a walking tour to learn about the old monuments, do a rubbing, be able to visit the chapel and a maybe even have a few other surprises. We are excited to announce that beginning on Saturday, September 9 the Library will be open from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Join us in celebrating our Collaboration with The College of the Holy Cross which has providing extended our this past summer and will make it possible to extend our school-year hours as well.

Gather with some neighbors, enjoy some sweets and stop in the library to catch up on what’s new.
