Inter-Library Loan Request

Any West Boylston resident with a valid BMPL borrowing card and a past record of on-time borrowing can use this service. Please refer to the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) section below the request form for additional information.

1. How many items can be requested at one time? 4 books or videos, 2 audios.
2. What items can not be borrowed? High-demand items, new books, reference books, ##items, or books from branches or bookmobiles. Some other restrictions may apply.
3. Am I guaranteed to get my inter-library loan request? No, sometimes the item is not available. Also, there is no guarantee on when these materials may come in.
4. Are there any costs involved? Usually not, however sometimes a copying charge or postage fee may apply.
5. Are there any fines involved? Yes, overdue fines are $1.00 per day.
6. Can I renew ILL items? No.
7. May I pick up materials in person from other libraries? Yes, but you must first speak to our staff to make arrangements.
